Rhythm Over Routine

The snow has melted on this side of the island the past few days. The temps have started to warm up and I'm hearing the birds singing in the mornings again which means winter is ending.
Since going full time as a business owner I've naturally followed a rhythm for productivity with the seasons but since immigrating to Iceland about 6 years ago, that rhythm has gotten deeper to follow the more extreme sun patterns.
In the dark winters where the sun is barely up, I work on a lot of behind the scenes planning and reflections. I assess how I want the upcoming year to be shaped and then work through what I need to point my ship in that direction.
This winter I've spent a lot of time reflecting on what I've accomplished, where I landed at the end of 2024, and what I want to focus on in 2025.
My main conclusions have been:
✨ I am de-digitizing my life and work as much as is necessary. Meaning, I want more tactile and tangible things in my life. It's a process in progress, my first initiated step was to get myself back into tactile creative projects, focus on my immersive transformational experiences, and grow a community/ be a part of more communities off of social media.
✨ I reshaped the type of work I'm offering to the world now to put an emphasis and exclamation point on what my work facilitates for people.
✨ Those points are exploration, connection, immersive experiences, community, creative expression and storytelling, relationships, and sustainable success.
✨ I've reshaped the way I'm working by alternating between 2 schedules instead of trying to consistently follow only 1.
✨ I've opened a new community for multi-dimensional creatives and business owners to sustainably grow their career through proximity, collaboration, and relationships. (More coming soon).
✨ I've evolved my upcoming group immersive Iceland experience to go deeper, be more potent, and offer people an opportunity to step into the next milestone of their storyline. (More coming soon).
✨ And I've done a ton of work on myself in this hibernation phase and answered some hard truths about what I truly want, what I'm willing to let to go get there, and what I need to change to do it.
And now, the island is waking up again. The sun is brightening the sky before 9am, the chill in the wind is a little less brutal, and the birds are starting to sing.
Which means the next phase in my seasonal productivity rhythm is to reveal what I have for people and invite them in, just as the flowers will emerge from the ground and reveal what they have to offer.
