This isn't forever
In the Club meetup on Friday there was discussion amongst most of the attendees about how they're not getting bookings or leads this month.
The Club is for professionals with multi-dimensional, non-linear career paths which means their income comes from their bookings and not a paycheck.
So not getting bookings can feel scary and unstable.
If you're feeling that now too, I just want to say what I said in the Club meetup:
It will be ok. Things will stabilize and the market will stabilize. This isn't forever.
Things you can do now -->
✨ Now is the time to reevaluate what you're doing, how you're showing up for your aligned clients, and how your brand is showing up for them.
✨ Now, more than ever, it's so important that you are confidently showcasing your expertise and the experience you offer, quickly and succinctly.
✨ Now is the time to look into what else you can be doing for the services you offer, for what you can offer but aren't, and for what markets you may be ignoring.
The buying journey and decision making timeline has shrunk because people don't have the mental capacity to deal with decision making, it needs to be clear and quick.
The type of service people want might be changing -- are you adjusting and adapting or are you holding onto outdated business and service models? Outdated ways to get booked or find better opportunities?
When there's a lull, it's the perfect time to reevaluate, adjust, and find a new way to fit what you do for people to meet them where they're at.
I love how my collaboration club is shaping up and the conversations we are having.
Being a multi-hyphenate, multi-dimensional creative means you have lots of untapped potential to adjust the flow and find a new stream.
And I love that the group is a space to collaborate together on it.
